I'm excited to announce that we are once again partnered with Rudy Project for this year's Alma Grand Prix of Cyclocross! They are probably most well known for their stylish and functional eye wear (both sporting and casual), but they also make some pretty slick helmets, goggles, as well as a full compliment of Rudy Project cycling wear.

Win an entry to the 2017 Alma Grand Prix of Cyclocross!
Thanks to Middy Matthews - Howard Hannah Realty,
the person with the most correct prediction for the top three elite
women finishers at the world cyclocross championships on Saturday,
January 28, will get a free entry to the 2017 Alma GP (on September 9), a custom water bottle from Avalon Pontoons, and custom Alma GP bar tapefrom Zevlin!
1) LIKE the Middy Matthews - Howard Hannah Facebook page
2) Post your prediction for the top three women finishers, in order, at
the world championships on 1/28 in the comments for the contest post on
the Alma GP Facebook page
3) Tag ONE friend in your comment!
If you need help deciding, check out the UCI ranking table HERE!
Entries must be made by Friday, 1/27, at 11:59 p.m. EST. You may enter
only once. Make your choices carefully, and if there are multiple posts
with the most correct choices (as deemed by me) I’ll use a random number
generator or pick the winner by who has the most fluorescent yellow in
their kits, or by who races on a Cannondale, or by whoever my youngest
daughter thinks should win. Seriously folks, it’s not a lottery ticket.
It’s for fun. Winner can pick an entry into the cyclocross or 5k race at
the 2017 Alma GP. Entry coupon is not transferable and carries a cash
value of $0.000000000001 should you try to sell it for some foolish
reason. Thanks for supporting the sponsors that support the Alma GP!
While the 2016 season hasn't even officially closed yet, we're already in the works for planning 2017 to improve on what is already a really fun race day. As you probably know, I promote the Alma Grand Prix of Cyclocross year-round, and as such, if you are interested in a partnership to help co-brand your business and/or products, I'd love to hear from you! Feel free to reach me on Facebook, Twitter, or e-mail and we can put something together that will help you expand your brand presence to a solid market!
In case you haven't seen this, Chris Aitken and Tom Chapman, both of the Focus Attaquer Cycling Team, made a trip to Alma on one of their "off" weekends while in the U.S.! Here's their post-visit video from #AussiesInAlma2016...enjoy!
Take a look at the above map of the venue. Parking (if you're early) can be found in the lot to the right (East) of the big bus garage. If you have a Kuat Rack on your car, please feel free to park in the VIP Parking area by proceeding through the orange cones that will mark a path (next to the kid's course).
If you're late to the venue, you'll likely need to park to the north or south of the road that you drive in on. I'll have a small number of parking helpers on hand to guide your way!
Don't forget about the ProGold pit area and bike wash (located next to the Alma Transportation Center) - the forecast is looking wet, so don't go home with a dirty bike!
We're also excited to have a great wood-fired pizza vendor on site for race day! Plan your race day food options accordingly, and don't forget to stop by the Alma Brewing Company later on for $1 off pints (show your bib number)!
